Visited for the first time last week as my Son wanted to try the pancakes we had seen photos of on social media. We had cheese and ham sandwiches and he had the hungry hippo pancakes. Happy with food we received. Staff were all polite and friendly. Table was available as soon as we arrived and we were served quickly.

Perfect brunch spot - delicious food, great coffee and dog friendly. Be aware that Sunday has a reduced menu, but there's still plenty of choice. I can recommend the breakfast wrap, mango smoothie and the gigantic house pancakes (unless you are very hungry, you might want to share those!)

My wife loves pancakes and as it was Shrove Tuesday "we" decided to go to the Cactus Cafe as we have not been here for quite some time and my wife saw the menu online. Had a delicious brunch of Eggs Mexicana, Pistachio pancakes, Flat White and Breakfast tea. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend. Ideally situated next to ALDI (aisle of dreams for me) and M&S food (my wife's favourite). Happy wife Happy Life!

I can finally tick trying bacon on pancakes off my food bucket list.Who knew I’ve been missing a taste sensation all these years.Pancakes were top notch, I tried some of the waffles and they were also banging.Lovely spot for a breakfast

Amazing cafe. Food was fantastic, staff were wonderful, atmosphere was lovely. Loved it was dog friendly as well as child friendly. Will definitely be going back again with the pooch in tow. Great place to warm up after a walk round the park and play for the kids.

On my way to Alnwick from Milton Keynes and I usually stop at the services and have something that resembles food and never feel 100% after. This time I stopped at Sctoch corner and looked up a cafe near me.And I am so glad I did.On arrival the friendly staff seated my self and my work mate to a lovely table. The place was clean and had lots of customers but didn’t feel over crowded. Just right.Once we say the menu we made our decision.I went for the full English and my work mate went for the Berry Nice pancakes. When the food arrived we could not get over the portions.Perfection on a plate.Quality of the food was an obviously something the cafe considers priority. The mushrooms were lovely and my sausage (easy now calm down) was plump and tasty. And black pudding…mmmmmmmThe pancakes were layered with syrup, banana and berries on every pancake. Wow!!!Good luck finishing the pancakes, make sure you are hungry!Washed down with a hot chocolate and a latte. MmmmmThank you for the hospitality and now i am ready for the rest of my drive!!!

Came for a snack and went large on a pancake stack between 2 of us ...the White Lotus . Even though they were busy it came quickly, as did our drinks, and was delicious. We were served by lovely Eleanor who was efficient and smiley. Will definitely be back.
